Our Home

I figured since I was showing pics of the latest remolding jobs we have done, I would show everything we have done since we moved in I am just so proud. We have only gotten to the main level but it is almost finished. We plan on doing the upstairs next I think we will start with the master bedroom. We really want to redo the basement and put wood floors down. I think wood is my favorite, Dave really likes tile, but I think it is too cold epically is a basement. Even though our basement is a walk out, it still gets really cold.

Our entire first floor was yellow when we moved in, not a terrible color but it just didn't match anything we had so we painted....... everything including the cabinets. We also added hardware to the cabinets and molding. It made a huge difference I wish I before and after pics. The nice thing about the house is the carpet and floors were almost new so with a couple coats of paint and some decorations the main floor was finished.

I will keep posting pics when we do new stuff, I love painted and decorating I have so many ideas I just want to do them all at once, to bad it takes money to do it. So I just take it one room at a time. I have a really cute idea for nursery so when we decided to have kids I will definitely post that one.

The Kitchen/ Dining Room we never really eat at this table since it is just the two of us we usually eat at the coffee table in the living room.

The living room, I think my dogs love the camera they always end up in the shot.

The hallway, I love this Vogue picture they are old covers of vogue I got the poster a couple of years ago from allposter.com and put it on a canvas with modge podge (love the stuff) they have some great posters you should check it out.

Stairs

Dave works for 3-Form. The are a company that makes designer plastics, you can also put things inside of the plastic layers. These are some of the products we have in our house now. The first one is called crush, it is red glass this picture does not do it justice. The second is a called connection it is fabric strips. Dave hates these ball decorations so he only lets me keep them because the bowl is his product. (and his mom gave them to me and I like them :) You can check out all there products at 3-form.com

Still Itching for Summer

So it is still not even close to Summer yet even though been warmer here this week.So once again we were ready to make over the house some more this time we made over the powder bathroom that is on the main floor. We pained it the same green that is in the kitchen because we had some paint left over, I also painted the sink base the same way we did the upper cupboards in the kitchen, because again we had the supplies left over. Then we redid the floor and framed the mirror. I haven't put any decorations up yet but I wanted to put up the before and after pics. I love the way it turned out. It was kind of a trial run for the other 2 bathroom that we want to redo.

Itching for Summer

About this time of the year I am really ready for summer to be here. I can't stand to be stuck in the house any more. So to keep my sanity I decided it was time to organize the storage room, it has bothered me for a long time now and Dave got me a label maker for Christmas, which I recommend to anyone who likes things organized. So a couple of weekends ago we took everything out, Dave built some shelves while I went through everything and organized and labels tubs. It was so nice when It was finished. I didn't take a before pic, even if I did I probably wouldn't have posted it, it would be to embarrassing, just picture all of this stuff piled on top of each other.

Snowboarding again

We went snowboarding again on presidents day weekend. We went up to Snowbasin, I was excited because you don't wear your board on the lift so I don't fall on my butt every time I get off. The lift actually takes you to another lodge at the top of the mountain and it takes you about and hour and a half to make it back down the mountain it is a great workout. Dave went one time snowboarding with out me and jumped way ahead of me in his skill level. I like snowboarding but the next time we go I am going to try skiing again it has been a while since I have been but I grew up skiing so hopefully it will come easier to me. We will see.

Valentines Day

Every year for valentines Dave makes me dinner, which I love because he is such an amazing cook. This year he made me steak and shrimp with mushroom soooooo yummy. He is such an amazing husband I am so lucky to have him in my life.
I was in charge of dessert and I made rice crispy treats with chocolate hearts on them. Not very creative my they are my favorite. We also have chocolate fondue with strawberry's, cinnamon lips and marshmallow also very yummy.

Who cooks dinner? I do most the time, but dave is an AMAZING cook so it is really nice when he does.

Who drives? In town he does, on trips I will drive longer he hate driving for a long time.

Who is more stubborn? We both are but I am more than him.

Who kissed who first? He kissed me and it was AWESOME!

Who asked who out first? He did the first time and my dad told me that some boy had called and wanted take me out on a date, and them a couple of months later he was in the car behind me on the highway so I called him and he asked me out.

What was your first date? We went to wingers, so good, and then played card games at his friends house. His friend was determined to beat me at war but it didn't happen.

Who proposed? He did once informally with out a ring, and then once with the ring at Snoqualmie Falls in Washington.

Who has more siblings? I do, he has 2 older sisters and I have 5 older brothers and 1 older sister.

Who wears the pants? Dave does most the time.

What is your favorite thing about him? He is so loving, and the hardest worker I have ever met. He can do more with the time he is given than anyone, its amazing anyway, he is HOT. He lets me pick out his clothes..most the time. He makes me want to be a better person by his example....there are just so many I can't name them all.

Weekend in Rexburg

We headed up to Rxburg for the superbowl as soon as we got there I was reminded of what rexburg was like when I was a kid and would make snow forts in the front yard to hide in and throw show balls at the college students, there was so much snow. We didn't have our snow stuff but that didn't stop the boys from playing in the snow and throwing the girls and the dogs in the snow. The super bowl party was fun and the game was even better thanks to the Giants upseting Patriots. Go Giants!

MORE CHEER

IFEA Senior and Junior team performed together for half time at the Jazz game Monday, and yes I had to go watch. I recorded the routine with my camera so the quality is not that great and people kept walking in front of me but I think they did a great job and you can see some of the choreography that I did for them. I love to go and watch there performances it makes me so proud but it is hard not to be a coach any more.

I am having some issues trying to get the video to load but I will keep trying.
