Busy Weekend

Every year my bother JR comes up for a conference at BYU and it gives us a great excuse to all get together as a family. This year my sister Kelli threw me a mini baby shower with all the sisters. We went to Gardner Village and had lunch and chatted and I got lots of cute stuff for my Sophia. The guys were nice enough to watch all the kids while we had our fun. After the shower we headed back to Jared and Melissa house to save the guys and hung out. Dave and I had tickets to the BYU/TCU game so we bundled up and headed down to the game that night. BYU didn't play so well and got destroyed by TCU but I still love going to the games.
So the next day we headed down to Jared and Melissa's house for some more food and fun. We played DDR, that is one game that I just can't play even will all my dance skills my brain just can't do it! It was fun to watch the little kids try and play to would concentrate so hard on the TV to just get one arrow. They were so excited when they finally did. It was a good weekend, it was nice to see the family.
So I am now 26 weeks along. My belly button is sticking out bad now. I already had an outtie belly button and now it is really and outtie. I passed my glucose test and officially don't have gestational diabetes. I was anemic though and have started taking iron pills which has made a huge difference in how I feel. I have so much more energy now. I wish I would have know a couple of months ago! I feel like I am finally getting prepared for this baby I have clothes, a stroller/car seat, crib, swing and dresser. If she came now I wouldn't freak out to much. I am getting really excited now as I only have 3 months left!

(so these pictures a in a random order, I can't move them so have fun looking threw them)

Baby Bump Watch.....23 Weeks

So I am now 23 weeks down. My camera has been having issues focusing and my curtains make my hair look red so it is not the greatest pick but I need to document how my stomach is growing. She has started kicking a lot and I love it, it is nice to have a reminder every day that she is still ok and alive, I am sure every pregnant mother has felt this way but I get paranoid that something is going to happen to her. Dave has been able to feel here kick a couple of times and it is so precious for him to be able to feel her. Anyway Dave told me I need to write down how I feel about being pregnant, I would have to say that I don't really love it. It is just uncomfortable and I don't feel pretty at all and I hate being hungry all the time, I get sick of having to eat so often. But I do love when she kicks and I know it is worth the outcome, but I don't love the whole process. I will try to document more pictures of my growing belly, it grows so fast these days.

Sophia LoRee Dalling

It's A Girl! So it looks like the guest room is staying pink. We are so excited we are having a girl. Here I am at 17 weeks. I am 20 now. It seems to be flying by now. I am almost half way there. I am glad I can finally start buying stuff and get ready for when she comes. It seems like such a far way off that it will be next year before she gets here, but I am sure by the way things are going it will go by fast. So before I even got married I have always loved the name Sophia, so when i married Dave I told him we would be naming one of our girls Sophia. He did not like the name so after some convincing & with the promise of a new TV if I got to name one of our girls Sophia, he agreed. Well I was thinking when we had a girl he could get a TV, but he decided that meant he could get a new TV when ever he wanted so about a year ago I went to Rexburg for a weekend and came home to a new TV. So now he is paying up for his end of the bargain :), and I can stop giving him crap about the TV!

Catching Up!

So I am a blog slacker, but it seems to have hit everyone lately. I think it is because it is finally warm outside, and we all can't wait to get out and enjoy it, and I am not so good at just writing about things that are going on with my life with out pictures. I have either for gotten my camera or the battery has died. So here is what has gone on in my life that I have managed to snap some pics of.
This is pics of Danielle's Baby Shower we had at my house Saturday the 16th. It was a good thing we finally had the baby shower because she is actually in Labor as I am typing this and I am way excited to finally see Jamison Wayne Thornock. She is 4 weeks early, but the baby was measuring early so all should be fine. Danielle & Josh actually moved on the 16th also and were hoping to have a couple weeks to get settled in before the baby would come, but Danielle blood pressure jumped to and unsafe level, (to much excitement from the baby shower, jk ) so they started her early. Josh, Dave and I got the house together so it will be ready for the baby to come home!

Another thing that I has been up to was to paint my window seat. I has wanted to paint a diamond pattern, but when we tried to tape it off, it was just not working right and the tape pulled off the paint. So I headed to Michales to find a stencil, well there we no diamond stencils to be found I really didn't want to make one my self, but I had found a stencil that I really like and so I decided to that I would use it instead. I am really glad I did because I love how it turned out. Here are some before and after pics.

{ Before }

{ After }
Daves mom was here for mother day, and I didn't get any pics except for the flowers that we got from church. Which I though looked great with my decor, and I may even have to get some fake ones to put there. I can't have a real plant I would kill it. I definitely didn't get my mothers green thumb. We had a lot of fun with Daves mom here playing games, and eating lot and lot of yummy food, and taking lot of walk with the dogs and the millions of mosquito's. It was nice to have her here. I missed my mom on mothers day, she is still in Romania, but will be home on Friday to help Danielle with the baby and I am super excited to see her. Love you mom!

Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day everyone, I think Valentines should be on a Saturday every year, it was so nice to get to spend the whole day together and not have to rush to dinner after work or try to get everything ready. Dave is an amazing husband and always spoils me on Valentines day, He made me breakfast, and I woke up to roses in my room with chocolates and then roses on the table, and they roses would just show up randomly in place, it was really cute. Then we headed to the movie, we saw Mall Cop, then went back and got ready for dinner. Dave made french dip which is one of my favorites and it was super yummy. I tried to make a mango chocolate dessert but I couldn't get the chocolate to stick to the mango and it looked really bad, tasted good but looked bad, so we didn't eat it. But it really was a fun amazing day. I am so glad to have a husband like Dave :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I hope every one had a wonderful Christmas, We are sad the weather was so crappy and keep us away from a great Christmas dinner and fun with family. It was very interesting having our first Christmas by our selves. I will never forget this Christmas, it was so fun to add both of our family Christmas traditions together. Jingle Jingle and Dave making me cry with something so simple as a life savors book in my stocking. We love you all so very much and hope you have a happy new year to come!
