Happy Birthday Dave!

It is Dave's Birthday today and he is turning 27. He is soooooo excited to. He was not to excited to work on his Birthday but we are leaving for Miami in a couple of days and will be celebrating it there. I hope he has a wonderful day and I love him. You are one year older and wiser too, Happy Birthday to you!

4th of July

I was so excited that the 4th was on a Friday this year. There is nothing better than a 3 day weekend. We hit up the golf course early that morning. It was suppose to be a record high of 102, so we were hoping that at 9:30 it wouldn't be to hot. It was kind of cold for the first hour and really windy. The sun finally came out and it got a lot hotter and windier. So I let after the first 9 holes. Dave got some good sun, I was hoping to get some son, but I hate being out in the wind with your hair flying everywhere and it gets all tangled. Guy just don't understand. We had a yummy BBQ to finished off the day and tried to watch some fireworks in the backyard. It was a good holiday.

A Weekend Getaway

This last weekend we headed up to Midway UT for a weekend getaway at the Zermatt Resort. Of course we had to stop in Park City and do some shopping at the outlets but then we were on are way to Midway. They have made the hotel look like you fell into the middle of Europe. The workers even dress up. We had so much fun, we played shuffle board...my arm was so stiff the next morning, I had no idea shuffle board could be so intense. There was also a giant checkers board we didn't end up playing it I wanted to hit the pool instead. There was also an 18 hole putting course dave totally beat me, he is the golfer not me. The food was also amazing they had a american buffett for dinner with lots of yummy meats and potatoes and an entire table of deserts. The breakfast buffett was also very good. They also had a bakery with Gelato, which is an italian ice cream. It is so yummy. We had a great weekend and I would recomeond this resort to anyone looking for a fun weekend getaway.

P.S. I am so happy to have a camera again.

CAT DIARY:
Day 983 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am.There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now...
